Considering the company’s effects on both people and the planet, IG&H embarked on a journey of becoming more sustainable. This is a long-term goal that demands clear navigation.
To understand where IG&H stands regarding its sustainability endeavors, we turned to EcoVadis for an unbiased assessment from an external party. Independent assessments help to hold companies accountable and encourage them to think deeper about their sustainability goals and turn sustainability efforts into measurable actions.
IG&H’s silver medal and scores at a glance The EcoVadis sustainability assessment is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. Over 300 multinational companies use EcoVadis to monitor the sustainability performance of their trading partners. Within the assessment, companies are evaluated in four domains:
Environment
Labor and human rights
Sustainable procurement
Ethics
IG&H scored 58 out of 100. Although this was only our first assessment and a long road of improvement lies ahead, we are excited to share that we are in the top 25% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the computer programming and consultancy industry.
IG&H received the Silver medal in the EcoVadis rating framework. The Silver certificate applies to the top 25% of companies evaluated, with a total score between 56 and 66. With an overall score of 58/100, IG&H is in the top 16% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the Computer programming, consultancy and related activities industry. IG&H’s scores in the four main domains are as follows:

At IG&H we value people and the planet. To guide, drive, measure, and govern our impact on society and the environment, we use the widely recognized ESG Framework. The EcoVadis assessment showed us which areas need our attention even more at this moment in time.

Operating across 5 major sectors and working with advanced technology platforms, IG&H has learned that digitalization and sustainability go hand in hand, often in unexpected ways. We scored best in the domain ‘labor and human rights’ as IG&H is in the top 9% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the Computer programming, consultancy and related activities industry. In second place was Sustainable procurement, where IG&H is in the top 20% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the Computer programming, consultancy and related activities industry.
Therefore, IG&H will first focus on improving in the environmental and ethics categories. We are proud to have received a silver medal in our initial assessment and have set our sights on a gold medal for companies scoring in the top 5% and eventually want to achieve a Platinum EcoVadis certification which recognizes companies in the top 1% with an overall score between 75 and 100.
