IG&H welcomes Sabine van Gompel as new Director Financial Services – Pensions

Utrecht, 29 January 2026 – Sabine van Gompel (43), former Program Director for the Future of Pensions Act (Wet toekomst pensioenen) at Blue Sky Group, has joined consulting and technology firm IG&H as Director Financial Services – Pensions. With twenty years of experience in the pensions domain, Sabine will support clients with transformation challenges, including regulatory matters. Her focus will be on advising pension funds and pension provider organizations (pensioenuitvoeringsorganisaties). 


Sabine has worked on future-proofing services, contracting, pricing and implementation, while simultaneously aligning IT delivery with changing legal requirements and customer expectations. These experiences shape her vision for her new role at IG&H.   


“The transition to the Future of Pensions Act has clearly shown how essential collaboration and transparency are to success. Especially when design and implementation run in parallel, managing expectations is at least as important as delivering on time. The sector needs true partnerships and clear communication to manage complexity and create sustainable value. This applies not only during the current Wtp transition, but also in the long term. I look forward to actively contributing to this,” explains Van Gompel.
