AI is widely regarded as a key lever for making healthcare future-proof. At the same time, the step from isolated pilots to structural, scalable impact remains challenging for many healthcare organizations.
In this whitepaper, we share insights from a practice-oriented study into AI adoption in healthcare. Based on interviews with healthcare organizations throughout the Netherlands and additional survey data, we answer the question: ‘How do you get more value out of AI for your healthcare organization?’
We introduce a concrete maturity model that helps to steer specifically towards process, people, and technology. We map out where healthcare organizations stand today, where things are stalling, and what is needed to grow towards the mature deployment of AI. In this way, we realize actual value with AI, instead of getting stuck in experiments.
