What they wanted

After a successful merger between two hospitals in which concluded contracts with the health insurer gave financial stability, it was now time to renew the contracts. Our client asked us to help with a sales strategy that supports the overall strategy of the hospital financially and stimulates cooperation with insurers to take the next step towards a sustainable healthcare transformation.


What we did

Together with our client, we set a long-term ambition for the transformation of healthcare in their region. After careful analysis, we used a segmented approach to determine the right tactics per insurer to stimulate the relationship and/or improve financial agreements where needed. We helped the team prepare the process towards long-term partnerships. To successfully execute the strategy, we also advised our client about how to improve the sales team, organisation, and their way of working.
