What they wanted
One of the largest producers of health care support devices in the Netherlands asked IG&H to perform a sanity check of their new strategy. Their reason for asking was the changing market dynamics in combination with their own business model, therefore, the manufacturer was forced to review and adjust their strategy.
What we did
As IG&H, we validated their performed research and sketched strategic market scenario’s, and advised them about their provisional decision. Therefore, we first challenged their ‘case for change’: is there a logical rationale to aim for a radical change? Further on, we broadened their strategical options and tested them based on six situation specific criteria. At last, we took a deep dive into their two most promising strategic options and for both cases we build a multi-year transformation program- and business case.
After this project, the board and supervisory board was able to make the decision and to execute the next steps.
